National Pet Week May 4 – 10

Celebrate your pooch during National Pet Week next week, May 4 through 10.
National Pet Week was jointly founded in 1981 by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Auxiliary to the AVMA, and is now widely celebrated throughout the United States and other parts of the world.
Each year, its goals are: to promote responsible pet ownership, celebrate the human-animal bond, and promote public awareness of veterinary medicine.
Pet Health Care
An important part of responsible pet ownership is making sure that your pet’s health needs are met. You should consult your veterinarian whenever you have a question about your pet’s health or welfare. It’s also important that your veterinarian regularly sees your pet to keep you all living healthy and happy lives.
The American Veterinary Medical Association has all sorts of pet health information of their website, so check it out.
And happy National Pet Week to you and your four-legged friends!
