Earth-Friendly Dog Products
I recently wrote a story about “green” pet products, and in the course of research, I found some new, environmentally-friendly products to try out.
The Poop
There are a lot of poop bags out there, but both Doggie Walk Bags and Pooch Pick-up Biodegradable Cornstarch Pet Waste Pickup Bags are made from biodegradable products.
If you’re really looking to go that extra mile, you can try the Planet Natural Pet Poo Converter, a box filled with composting worms that turns waste into an odorless “compost tea” fertilizer, or the Doggie Dooley Toilet, which is a septic system for pets that uses live organisms to naturally break down waste.
Smelling Like a Rose
Bath products such as Bio-Groom and EarthBath are made with botanicals and biodegradable ingredients.
Beds & Blankets
